Frequently Asked Questions

How does PubGo generate recommendations?

PubGo uses advanced machine learning models trained on millions of medical abstracts. When you submit your text, we analyze its semantic meaning and compare it against our database to find journals that publish similar research.

Is PubGo free to use?

Yes, you can start for free. Anonymous users and registered Free Tier users have access to a limited number of searches per day. While PubGo has paid plans, during our Beta period, the PLUS plan is completely free for all registered users. You can read more about this in our pricing section.

Do you guarantee acceptance?

No. PubGo is a decision-support tool. Journal acceptance depends on many factors including study quality, novelty, and the specific editor's discretion. We help you find the best fit, but we cannot guarantee publication.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Account Settings page. Your access will continue until the end of the current billing cycle.

What data do you store?

We store the abstracts you upload to improve your personal history and our models (unless opted out). We do not accept or store Protected Health Information (PHI). Please ensure all data is anonymized.
